6th Grade
  • Builder’s Club – Student led organization that focuses on building leadership skills through the power of service. Contact Mrs. Kuns or Mrs. Katafias

  • Chess Club – The Chess club gives students an opportunity to play friendly games of chess against their peers in a low-stress environment. Students of all levels are welcome to come, as help is given to those who need it. Contact Mr. Ball

  • Destination Imagination (DI) – Destination Imagination is a problem solving competition for all ages. This project based team is encouraged to think creatively as they challenge others in different aspects of Science, Art, and Technology. Students have the opportunity to compete in a number of different competitions that encourage curiosity, innovation, and leadership.‬

  • Student council – Students are voted on by their peers to represent their student population in each grade. The council is responsible for schoolwide planning, such as dances, fundraisers, and school programs. Contact Mrs. Albright

7th and 8th

  • Power of the Pen – Through a series of interscholastic writing tournaments designed for middle school students, Power of the Pen encourages schools to identify excellence and develop writing teams. These young writers meet, compete, and receive recognition and awards for excellence in three rounds of impromptu writing, and receive immediate feedback from teacher-judges on the quality of their written expression.   • Quiz Team – Middle School quiz team is a competitive, academic, interscholastic activity for which players attend periodic practices and then represent their school at tournaments. Quiz team questions range over the entire spectrum of the middle school curriculum and also a certain amount of current events, sports, and popular culture. Contact Mrs. Makulinski
