2/3/18 - 7th Grade Northern Buckeye Conference Championship Game - #1 Woodmore 34, #2 Elmwood 27
The Wildcats fell behind 9-0 in the first quarter and trailed 11-3 after one quarter in the game played at Fostoria.  But, the Wildcats reversed things in the second quarter outscoring Elmwood 11-2 to take a 14-13 lead at halftime.  The Wildcats gave themselves some working room in the third quarter scoring six straight points and 10 of the last 12 in the quarter to build a 26-17 lead after three quarters.  Elmwood scored the first four points of the fourth quarter to cut the deficit to 26-21, but Woodmore would score five of the next six points to take a 31-22 lead and never look back in winning the 2018 title.  Macey Bauder led the Wildcats with 18 points.  Also scoring for the Wildcats was Olicia Vogelpohl (6 pts.), Jordan Beam (4 pts.), Alayna Hahn (4 pts.), and Paige Helmke (2 pts.).  Macie Tuttle, Cadence Gray, Sophia Bittel, and Jessie Lassiter are also players on the championship team.
