Girls Win Old Fort Invitational; Boys are Ninth

9/29/18 - The girls cross country team won the Old Fort Invitational with 102 points while the boys team had 244 points to place ninth.  Eighth-grader Olivia Vogelpohl was second in the girls race with a time of 12:28.75.  The individual winner, Emelia Simmons from Gibsonburg, was timed in 12:03.41.  Eighth-grader Macey Bauder was 13th in 13:18.38 while teammate, eighth-grader Jordan Beam, was 14th in 13:21.30.  Seventh-grader Emma Hammer was 36th in 14:10.66 while seventh-grader Madison Hammer was 37th in 14:10.91. Seventh-grader Emily Kerecz was 46th in 14:23.87 and seventh-grader Molly McCarthy was 48th in 14:31.22.  Seventh-grader Kylie Cordy was 68th in 15:14.70 and seventh-grader Lily Myers was 97th in 16:59.70.  For the boys, seventh-grader Lance Overmyer was third in 11:43.02.  The boys winner was Zach Zoeller from New Riegel in a time of 11:29.29.  Seventh-grader Gabe Garcia was 49th in 13:16.19 while eighth-grader Richard Torres was 51st in 13:17.50.  Eighth-grader Logan Hernandez finished 116th in 15:37.68, eighth-grader Brendan Hammer was 119th in 15:47.28, and seventh-grader Camden Knepper was 145th in 18:07.66.
