Girls Second, Boys 11th at Fostoria Meet

10/8/16 - The girls junior high cross country team placed second as a team with 56 points behind only Bryan (48 points) in the nine-team Fostoria Booster Invitational.  The boys team placed 11th of 13 teams with 284 points.  For the girls, eighth-grader Ava Beam was the individual champion winning the 3200 meter race in a time of 13:12.61, a little less than eight seconds faster than the runner-up.  Eighth-grader Greta Bauder was third with a time of 13:32.31, eighth-grader Olivia Thatcher was 13th in 14:10.18, and seventh-grader Sidney Wank was 19th running 14:29.97.  Other Woodmore runners included: seventh-grader Kristen Davis (26th, 14:54.21), eighth-grader Savanna Fligor (34th, 15:10.81), eighth-grader Sidney Gillig (43rd, 15:36.10), eighth-grader Olivia Heidebrink (62nd, 16:34.44), eighth-grader Sierra Cantley (63rd, 16:35.83), eighth-grader Julia Cable (64th, 16:40.03), and seventh-grader Makayla Stang (107th, 21:17.06).  The top runner for the boys was eighth-grader Kayden Widman who was 29th in a time of 13:10.84.  Eighth-grader Kegan Harrison finished 58th in a time of 14:30.28.  The other Wildcat runners included: eighth-grader Nathan Sedlmeier (65th, 14:51.62), eighth-grader Ian Jacobson (82nd, 16:16.01), seventh-grader Mason Hablitzel (90th, 15:33.06), seventh-grader Joshua Hobbs (92nd, 15:36.20), seventh-grader Marty Repka (109th, 16:35.75), and seventh-grader Nick Rothert (131st, 23:58.67)
