Girls Finish Second in Fremont

9/24/16 - The girls junior high cross country team finished second in the Streak Invite hosted by Fremont St. Joseph Central Catholic at Walsh Park in Fremont.  The girls had 56 points to finish team champion Seneca East.  The boys team finished eighth in the eight-team field with 190 points.  Girls results: eighth-grader Ava Beam (2nd, 13:10.74), eighth-grader Greta Bauder (7th, 13:43.74), eighth-grader Olivia Thatcher (10th, 13:57.72), seventh-grader Sidney Wank (20th, 14:35.71), seventh-grader Kristen Davis (22nd, 14:37.33), eighth-grader Sidney Gillig (35th, 15:30.98), eighth-grader Savanna Fligor (38th, 15:32.40), eighth-grader Sierra Cantley (57th, 16:52.14), eighth-grader Julia Cable (60th, 17:00.95), eighth-grader Olivia Heidebrink (62nd, 17:17.42), and seventh-grader Makayla Stang (73rd, 21:27.63).  Boys results: seventh-grader Kayden Widman (29th, 13:34.46), eighth-grader Kegan Harrison (43rd, 14:26.42), eighth-grader Ian Jacobson (52nd, 14:47.81), eighth-grader Nathan Sedlmeier (54th, 14:49.47), seventh-grader Joshua Hobbs (67th, 16:02.41), seventh-grader Mason Hablitzel (72nd, 16:40.28), seventh-grader Marty Repka (77th, 17:06.30), and seventh-grader Nick Rothert (88th, 22:22.38).
