Wildcats Earn Win over Elmwood

4/26/17 - The track and field team earned a narrow 63-59 dual meet win over Elmwood at home.  Woodmore won six events and a relay.  C.J. Buchanan (7th grade) won two events to lead the Wildcats.  He won the 1600 running 5:35.6 and the 800 with a time of 2:35.0.  Ian Jacobson (7th grade) took the high jump competition clearing 4-8, Cameron Overmyer (8th grade) won the pole vault clearing 8-6, Aaron Sandrock (8th grade) won the 100 with a time of 12.2, and Luke Travis (7th grade) won the 200 running a time of 26.3.  The 800 relay team of Gage Might (8th grade), Ethan McNair (8th grade), Casey Cousino (7th grade), and Zane Willis (7th grade) won in a time of 1:56.2.  Earning second-place points was: Colby Pendleton (8th grade) in the shot put (37-10), Jacobson in the long jump (14-11 1/2), Travis in the 110 hurdles (17.1), Zachary Nissen (8th grade) in the 1600 (7:07.5), Christian Shope (8th grade) in the 400 (1:04.5) and 200 (29.4), and Sandrock in the 200 hurdles (28.2).
